Manage Push Notifications

CareZone will remind you to take your meds, refill a prescription, track vitals and health trends, or about an upcoming appointment through push notifications on your phone or tablet. If you share access to a CareZone profile with others you'll also receive notifications when someone else makes an update.

Push notifications are enabled in the app by default. Learn how to receive notifications or turn them off below.   Note: there are two places to check on your device.


iPhone and iPad Instructions

Check the Settings app on your device:

  1. Tap the Settings app on your device (outside of the CareZone app).
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Scroll down and tap on the CareZone icon from your list.
  4. To receive notifications, tap the slider until it turns green (and is toggled to the right).
  5. To turn off notifications, tap the slider until it turns gray (and is toggled to the left). 
  6. Choose either Banners or Alerts under "Alert Style when Unlocked".

Check the settings in the CareZone app:

  1. While in the CareZone app, tap the Home icon (bottom left corner).
  2. Tap the profile icon (top left corner).
  3. Tap the gear icon next to Settings (bottom left corner).
  4. Tap the name of the profile to edit notifications for that person.
  5. You will see three separate categories to manage your notifications (e.g. MEDICATIONS, TRACKERS, CALENDAR).
  6. To receive notifications for a specific category, tap the slider until it turns blue (and is toggled to the right).
  7. To turn off notifications, tap the slider until it turns gray (and is toggled to the left).

Android Instructions

Check the Settings app on your device

  1. Tap the Settings app on your device (outside of the CareZone app).
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. Locate the slider bar next to CareZone (from the list of All apps).
  4. To receive notifications, tap the slider until it turns blue (and is toggled to the right).
  5. To turn off notifications, tap the slider until it turns gray (and is toggled to the left).

Check the settings in the CareZone app

  1. While in the CareZone app, tap the Home icon (bottom left corner).
  2. Tap the profile icon (top left corner).
  3. Tap Settings (next to the gear icon).
  4. Tap the name of the profile to edit notifications for that person.
  5. You will see two separate categories to manage your notifications (e.g. Calendar Events and Refill Reminders and Reminders).
  6. To receive notifications for a specific category, tap the checkbox until a checkmark appears.
  7. To turn off notifications, tap the checkbox until the checkmark disappears.
