Change an existing medication reminder time

Medication reminders help you or a loved one stay on top of a medication schedule. 

Newly scanned medications may be assigned a default time, based on the details included in the original prescription label (e.g. "8:00 AM Daily" for a med directed to be "taken with breakfast").

The reminder time will also be set to the time zone you are currently located in. 

If you'd like to change your reminder time, (e.g. from 8:00 AM to 7:00 AM), follow the steps below:

iPhone and iPad Instructions

  1. Tap the Medications module (bottom left).
  2. Tap a medication name (e.g. Ibuprofen).
  3. To change the reminder time:
    a. Tap the time below "Reminders" (e.g. 8:00 AM).
    b. Tap the reminder time (e.g. 8:00 AM)
    c.  Select a time by scrolling through the time wheel at the bottom (e.g. 9:30 AM).
  4. To select a reminder frequency:
    a. Tap the filed below "On the following days".
    b. Tap Every day to receive daily reminders—or tap individual days to receive reminders on specific days. (A checkmark will appear next to days selected).
    c. Tap Done (top right). 
  5. Tap <Back (top left). 
  6. Tap Save to update your med reminder (top right).

Android Instructions

  1. Tap the Medications module (bottom left).
  2. Tap a medication name (e.g. Ibuprofen). 
  3. To change the reminder time:
    a. Tap the time below "Med Reminders"  (e.g.  8:00 AM ).
    b. Select a time from the clock by tapping the hour and minutes.
    c. Tap AM or PM.
    d. Tap Done. 
  4. To change the frequency of the reminder:
    a. Tap Daily or the days of the week currently shown.
    b. Tap any day of the week to receive a reminder on that day. (Selected days appear highlighted in dark blue).
    c. Tap Done to save. 
  5. Tap the back arrow to save (top left).
