Add Identification and Driver’s License Cards

CareZone makes it easy to always have your, or a loved one's, identification card or driver’s license easily accessible at the clinic, or in an emergency.

Simply scan your photo ID or driver's license into CareZone using your phone's camera and they'll be available whenever you need them. Once you've added your ID cards to CareZone, it's easy to access them again. Learn more about accessing your ID cards here.

Here’s how to add identification cards:

iPhone and iPad Instructions

  1. Tap the Home (bottom left corner).
  2. Tap the PROFILE (upper right corner).
  3. Tap Add/View photo ID.
  4. Tap the plus button (top right).
  5. Choose Driver's License or Photo ID.
  6. Place your card on a flat surface and hold your device’s camera lens directly over the front of the card.
  7. Tap the shutter button when ready.
  8. If you're adding a Driver's License, the back barcode will scan automatically. If you don't have a barcode, tap No barcode? Tap here (top left corner).
  9. Add any description you would like then tap Done (top left).

Android Instructions

  1. Tap the Home (bottom left corner).
  2. Tap the PROFILE (upper right corner).
  3. First time adding a card:
    • Tap Add Driver's License / ID card.

    Adding another card:

    1. Tap View Driver's License / ID card.
    2. Tap the plus button (bottom right)
  4. Place your card on a flat surface and hold your device’s camera lens directly over the front of the card.
  5. Tap the shutter button when ready.
  6. Tap ACCEPT to save (or, tap RETAKE if the image is too dark or blurry).
  7. If you don't have a barcode or are adding an ID, tap No Barcode? Tap Here.

CareZone.com Instructions

You can't add your identification cards to CareZone.com just yet. If you'd like to see this feature added on the web, add the idea to our  Suggestion Board!
